There’s never been a better time to jump into the official Halo tabletop miniatures game, Halo: Flashpoint. Right now, the Spartan Edition of the Halo: Flashpoint starter pack is discounted to just $109.99 on Amazon (was $124.99). A small discount, but still the best price we’ve seen on this excellent tactical tabletop game since its post-Kickstarter launch back in October.
The Spartan Edition of Halo: Flashpoint comes packaged with 16 unpainted Spartan miniatures, four Banished Elite miniatures, a collection of plastic terrain, and a double-sided map board, along with all of the necessary dice and reference material.
A two-player, squad-based tactical game similar to Necromunda: Underhive Wars or Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, Halo: Flashpoint pits two teams of Spartans against each other in a closed arena in game modes found in the PvP modes of past Halo titles. This can include Slayer, Oddball, classic Capture the Flag or other objective-based game modes.
A slightly leaner starter pack for Halo: Flashpoint is also on sale for its lowest price ever. While the Recon Edition of Halo: Flashpoint still includes everything you need to start playing, it comes packaged with a more modest collection of eight Spartan miniatures and features a single-sided map with only cardboard terrain. Typically $75, Halo: Flashpoint – Recon Edition is currently discounted to $54.75 on Amazon.
