How do I prep the wall if the surface is wood and not drywall?
I was prepping the surface of my walls for painting today, and found out there is no drywall in one of the rooms. Instead, underneath the paint/wallpaper is just wood. I know it's not a good idea to use joint compound directly on top of it. But I want to make the surface smooth before priming and painting. How should I proceed? Or should I just do wallpaper in this room instead? https://preview.redd.it/zryydxkinzoe1.jpg?width=1153&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22c920841e857201b1aeba55a1ddf6b8b197f496 Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/anchi0311 [link] [comments]
