How do I remove this “self locking pin”??
Hi all, So I need to remove the knob from this Euro-style lock cylinder and, of course, this thing can’t be a simple small screw, but rather a “self locking pin” as described in the linked item description. (You can see 1/2 the pin just below where the knob attaches to the cylinder.) https://www.sullus.com/pub/media/wysiwyg/Datenblaetter/WILKA/EN/WILKA_SI6_knaufzylinder_en.pdf Video of the knob/cylinder: https://youtube.com/shorts/gPUOFMN01c8?si=cqkJE4-bu_J-NLW0 I’m fairly handy and have more than a few tools at my disposal, but after trying to force (by hand) out one way with a thin finishing nail and short of trying to mar everything up with a small flathead eyeglass screwdriver, does anyone have any idea of how I can either separate or push this pin out? Thank you for any & all help! submitted by /u/ThePartyShark [link] [comments]
