How should I remove this stud to access attached lath?
I’m removing lath and plaster and the frame of an added wall is covering where some of the lath is attached. My plan is to: 1. Get a reciprocating saw and make a cut at the top of the stud. 2. Pry off the blocking stud. 3. Remove the lath 4. Cut as precise as possible a replacement stud and nail it in.
