Hailey Bieber Finally Addresses Those Viral Videos on Her Justin Bieber Marriage
The Rhode founder opened up about the TikTok videos that paint her as a villain.

Hailey Bieber finally addresses the internet on Tuesday morning. Viral video after viral video talked about her alleged obsession with Justin Bieber and entrapping him in marriage. But, in a tell-all interview, the Rhode founder spoke on what she actually thinks on the online drama and false narratives.
The beauty brand founder discussed the legal action she's taking against the creator of the TikTok series "that purports to have done a Zapruder-style analysis of her preteen digital output cross-referenced with Justin Bieber concert appearances," per Vogue. The videos paint her as an evil mastermind who entrapped the pop phenomenon into marriage in the hopes of keeping him from his purported longtime love (at the time), Selena Gomez (now engaged to Benny Blanco).
She told the magazine in a cover story interview that she's no longer interested in engaging with people who seem unwilling to listen to her side of what's going on. "I feel like I've fought so hard to try to get people to understand me, or know who I am, or see me for me. And people just don't want to sometimes," Bieber said. "And there's nothing you can do about that. I've been in a position where I've tried to tell my side of a story or correct a narrative or tell the truth of a lie, and they go, 'Well, she's lying.'"
She went on to express the isolating feeling this creates for her and the toll it's taken on her, so much so that those near and dear to her have suggested she step away when the dissenters attack her.
"I've learned so much from Justin, really. He was like, 'Baby, trust me, I've been here before many, many times. You're not going to win. There's no winning.'" Words of wisdom for anyone experiencing this form of attack: there's no reasoning with someone who doesn't want to see it.
During the interview, the beauty mogul assured fans and haters alike that her marriage is strong and that motherhood has given her a different perspective on life: "My real life is that I get to wake up to my beautiful family and my son and my friends, and I have people that know me and love and I love them," she said. The couple got married in 2018 in a courthouse, with a bigger celebration following a year later in 2019, and they have been married for almost seven years. They welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024. They keep their son private for the most part.
In the interview where Bieber talked everything from beauty and fashion to her personal life, motherhood, and her marriage, she also talked about healing and how therapy has been a big part of coming to terms with accepting the things she can't change. In all of this, she's learning to process things anew. "I'm a processor. If I can just speak it out loud and process it, I usually can get there on my own."
