How to change skins in Elden Ring Nightreign

You can change your appearance in Elden Ring Nightreign, but not entirely — and it’s not a feature that’s available at the start. While you don’t have total control over your appearance, you can change the skins worn by each of your Nightfarers, so long as you have the Murk to do so.

Below, here’s how to change skins in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Update (June 3): We’ve added details about how to unlock additional skins.

How to unlock skins in Elden Ring Nightreign

You can unlock cosmetics after completing two expeditions in Elden Ring Nightreign.

The first expedition you’ll need to complete is the Tricephalos expedition, as doing so unlocks six more. However, the second expedition is entirely up to you; whichever one you complete will unlock character customization.

After you complete two expeditions, you’ll be able to access the wardrobe room in the Roundtable Hold. The wardrobe room is in Roundtable Hold’s east wing, but can also be selected from the Roundtable Hold map for fast travel.

Simply interact with the wardrobe in the corner to pull up the Change Garb menu. In this menu, you can swap your character’s outfits and purchase new ones using Elden Ring Nightreign’s in-game currency, Murk.

Every playable character starts with one default skin and has an additional two skins you can unlock in exchange for Murk. (These outfits cost either 14,000 or 35,000 Murk.) After beating the final boss, you’ll be able to get two more skins at 7,500 Murk each. You gain Murk from just playing the game, and once you’ve landed on purchasing a relic set that you like for the classes you play, hey, you might as well spend it on cool outfits.

You’ll also earn one skin for completing the remembrance questline for each character, though note that this one doesn’t cost Murk — it unlocks automatically.

This is the only menu where you can change your skins, so make sure you’re dripped out before your next multiplayer expedition. And for a look at what outfits you can earn, here’s a list of how to unlock all skins in Elden Ring Nightreign.
