How to close off hole where door is
So our house used to have a salon in the room that is now our living room. I was thinking of installing a split air conditioning/heating unit (it gets incredibly hot/ cold in there and the cost to hear cool it with gas is very high). The best/easiest place to install this is where the door we don't use is. We can't just cut the door (is metal and has windows). What would be the best way/ coat effective way to close the hole we don't need? Is masonry the only answer? A new door we can cut? Or is there another, in between, option? submitted by /u/hipp_katt [link] [comments]
