How to finish basement around staircase
Hello, I’m finishing my basement but have a question for what to do with the walls of the stairs. Right now the staircase is 36” inches wide and if I were to insulate and finish it, it would be narrower than code would allow so do I just finish the walls in the basement and leave the bricks exposed for a couple of feet in front of the stairs?
