Paldaen Tauros makes its Pokémon Go debut in April 2025’s “Stunning Styles” event.
There are multiple forms (known as breeds) available during the event, and if you want all three, you’ll need to do some remote raiding. So while Paldaen Tauros can be found everywhere, which breed you’ll get depends on your location.
Below we explain how to get a Paldaen Tauros in Pokémon Go, as well as where to find the different breeds by their locations, from the eastern and western hemispheres, to the Iberian Peninsula.
How to get Paldean Tauros in Pokémon Go
All three breeds of Paldean Tauros have debuted as part of the “Stunning Styles” event running from April 3 until April 7 at 8 p.m. in your local time.
During the event, Paldean Tauros will be in three-star raids. It appears that this is the only way to get it currently, as it’s not a confirmed spawn, nor does it appear in any Field or Timed Research.
Your best bet will be to just head to your local gym-filled Pokémon Go spot and try to take it on. It shouldn’t be too difficult, but remember that Paldean Tauros is fighting-type, not normal-type, so bring flying- and psychic-type moves to counter it.
How to get Combat, Blaze, and Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros

Paldean Tauros different forms are regional exclusives, as follows:
- Combat Breed Paldean Taurus is exclusive to the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal), and is a mono fighting-type.
- Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros is exclusive to the Eastern Hemisphere, and is a fighting- and fire-type.
- Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros is exclusive to the Western Hemisphere, and is a fighting- and water-type.
If you aren’t in one of these regions, remember you can remote raid — assuming you have buddies in the opposite hemisphere or on the Iberian Peninsula — to complete the set.
Note that all variants of Taurus do count towards Kanto Pokédex entry. If you catch a Paldean Tauros, even if you don’t have the original Kanto version, it’ll complete that slot of the Pokédex.
Kanto Tauros is also a regional-exclusive, only available in North America, so make sure to grab a Paldean version if you need that Pokédex entry.
As well as the return of Marshadow in “A Striking Shadow” research as part of the “Stunning Styles” event, other recent additions to Pokémon Go include the Go Pass April battle pass, which offers the chance to get another Lucky Trinket.
