How to play Yumemizuki Mizuki in Genshin Impact

Yumemizuki Mizuki is a 5-star Anemo Catalyst user in Genshin Impact. Like most Anemo Catalyst users, she excels in Swirl damage. Unlike her peers, though, Mizuki has a unique playstyle that can take some getting used to. Here’s how to play Mizuki as a Swirl DPS in Genshin Impact. Yumemizuki Mizuki’s kit explained Firstly, we should familiarize ourselves with Mizuki’s kit. Her Normal Attacks are a string of weak Anemo hits. Mizuki never uses Normal Attacks in combat, so we can ignore them for now. Mizuki’s Skill makes her float and enter the Dreamdrifter state. While in the Dreamdrifter state, Mizuki becomes a turret, dealing Anemo damage at intervals on nearby enemies. Mizuki cannot use Normal Attacks while in the Dreamdrifter state. She also continuously floats forward – there’s no way to stop and hover in place. She can still dodge, at least. Mizuki’s Burst summons a series of little snacks on the field. Touching a snack while low on HP will heal the active character. If you have at least 70% HP, though, it will instead deal Anemo damage in an AoE. Screenshot via Genshin Impact YouTube How to play Mizuki as an on-field Swirl DPS Mizuki’s playstyle revolves around triggering as many Swirls as possible while she’s on the field. This means setting up off-field teammate abilities, switching to Mizuki, and then using her Burst and Skill. Float around your enemies, picking up snacks and dealing continuous Swirl damage. With the right build, Mizuki’s Swirls should be hitting for bigger numbers than even Kazuha or Sucrose. Once Mizuki’s Dreamdrifter state ends, switch to her teammates and start your rotation anew. To summarize: Rotate through teammates to set up their off-field abilities. Switch to Mizuki. Cast Mizuki’s Burst, then Skill. Float around enemies and try to pick up snacks when you see them. When Mizuki stops floating, restart your rotation. With the steps above and the right teammates, your Mizuki should become a unique on-field DPS who simultaneously deals damage and heals herself.  The post How to play Yumemizuki Mizuki in Genshin Impact appeared first on Destructoid.
