How to remove and fill the space left by a wall exhaust fan.
I am doing renovations to my older home and am stumped by how to safely remove this fan system. I removed a faux hood and am replacing it with a recirculating hood but I do not want huge hole in the wall. The fan opens directly outside if have to insulate or seal that as well. Advice? I do not have more of the tiles. I'd really prefer not to redo the whole backsplash. Could I put in some sort of patch and then decorative tiles? submitted by /u/Kethrick [link] [comments]
