Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will have a closed network test between Friday, Feb. 23, and Sunday, Feb. 25, for PlayStation 5 users.
Warp through Travel Rings into different dimensions early in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ closed network test. Race against other players across land, sea, air, space, and time as some of your favorite characters from the Sonic franchise — as long as you get selected to be a tester. Unfortunately, signing up does not guarantee you a spot in the closed network test, but Sonic and racing game fans should still sign up for a chance to play!
Here’s how to sign up for the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds closed network test, and some details on how long registrations lasts and what to expect from the closed network test.
How to sign up for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds closed network test
Prior to signing up for the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds closed network test, you should know that the test is limited to PlayStation 5 only, but a PlayStation Plus subscription is not required for the closed network test’s online features. That said, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is currently planned to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC as well.
To sign up for the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds closed network test, follow these steps:
- Go to the official Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds website.

- Write your email in the “Email Sign-up” text box under the “Key Dates” section of the registration, and click the three arrows beside the text box.
- Fill out the registration with your date of birth, name, country, and platform, and click the “Subscribe” button.
- Wait for a confirmation email from SEGA on Thursday, February 20, to verify you’ve been selected for the closed network test.
Registration will end on Wednesday, Feb. 19, but registration may end earlier depending on the number of entries. If you really want to guarantee a sign-up, make sure to register early!
It’s important to note that in signing up for the test, you’re subscribing to the SEGA newsletter, and you’re signing up for a chance to be selected. Signing up does not guarantee a code, so look out more emails for future tests.
