Sunghoo Park, the director of Jujutsu Kaisen’s first season and 2024’s Jujutsu Kaisen 0, has been a busy man lately. That shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon with Bullet/Bullet, his second original anime after last year’s Ninja Kamui, which is set to premiere this summer. And from the looks of the trailer, he’s really swinging for the fences on this one.
Set in a future where human civilization has collapsed and the world has been turned into a wasteland, Bullet/Bullet centers on Gear, a young boy working in a junk shop. Tired of his humdrum life, he teams up with an anthropomorphic polar bear with a gambling problem and a robot with four competing personalities to become Robin Hood-esque thieves for hire. After accepting a request from a mysterious girl named Noa, the trio find themselves chased to the ends of the earth by an armed group vying for control of a world-altering secret.
