If you’re getting into espresso—or just want to make great coffee without much fuss—this is the machine to get. It also lets you know when the grounds level is correct—and tells you how to adjust it if it’s not. 

The Best Ice Cream Maker: Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker Machine

This has been our favorite ice cream maker for many, many years. It churns ice cream fast (an average of 20 minutes) and also works well for sorbet and gelato. It also only has one on/off button. This is the cheapest we’ve seen it go for.

The Best Gas Grill: Weber Spirit E-310 3-Burner Gas Grill

Our Longtime Favorite Coffee Grinder: OXO Brew Conical Burr Coffee Grinder

You just can’t beat the performance of this coffee grinder for the price. It also couldn’t be easier to use. It has one start/stop button and you simply have to twist the top to adjust the grind setting. 

The Best Water Bottle: Owala FreeSip Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle

We tested and recommended this water bottle long before it became popular. It has a straw and a chug cap and keeps water cold for an impressively long time. Its lid locks, too (no spills!). 

The Best Instant-Read Thermometer: ThermoWorks Thermapen ONE

If you want the best instant-read thermometer, this is the one to get. It has a blisteringly fast response time and so many features, including a rotating screen and automatic backlight (helpful for reading temperatures in cavernous ovens).

This is one slick skillet. Eggs slid right off of it. Sticky sauces were easy to clean. Its stainless steel handle stayed cool to the touch. And it’s 13% off at the moment.
