Midnite signs deal with Mindway AI to identify at-risk gamblers

Midnite has announced it has signed an agreement with Mindway AI to integrate GameScanner with its betting platform.

GameScanner is an AI tool designed to analyze gambling behavior to intervene when at-risk players are identified. It will enable Midnite to incorporate automated risk detection and intervention strategies to help ensure responsible gambling practices.

The GameScanner system combines AI with neuroscientific research and expert evaluation to assess gambling patterns and behavior and flag potential risks. Midnite will receive automated alerts when problematic gambling behavior is detected, which should facilitate earlier intervention.  

During Safer Gambling Week in November 2024, Mindway AI worked with Casino Guru, an online casino database, to improve its Gamalyze self-assessment tool. This collaboration sought to provide more information on gambling habits and improve risk analysis based on decision-making patterns.

The tool was accessible across multiple casino platforms seeking to increase participation above the 1,800 gameplays recorded in previous campaigns.

These efforts are in response to the shifting regulatory landscape in which responsible gambling compliance has become a growing focus for regulators and operators.

The move by Midnite to integrate GameScanner will look to meet a higher standard of player safety by making AI-driven monitoring a key part of its platform.
