Molding coming off a wall
Good evening! We've lived in our house for 6 years, and we've had handymen do almost everything else, but the basement is for me to do... starting with the stairway into it. Before I repaint it, and maybe redo the carpeting on the stairs (can I even do that myself?), I wanted to fix the molding. It seems to want to pull away from the wall, a lot, although when I push it in place, it's happy to stay there. Is there a way to keep it there? It looks like there is some old caulk there, is that what I need? Also, that piece at the end... it looks like it was cut to fit that gap, I guess? Is there a way to fix this myself? submitted by /u/Asmoridin [link] [comments]
