Mounting Window Boxes

I am currently building window boxes for the exterior of my house and don’t know which mounting option would work best for my situation. Here are the current specs: Window box (PT lumber) is 44” wide, 9” deep, 11” tall Window sits 8-10ft off ground level Brick veneer siding Box to contain nursery pots (and not completely filled with soil) to reduce weight and make it easier to transport plants inside for the winter What mounting style would make sense for this situation? L-shaped metal brackets, French cleat, box mounted onto 2x4, etc? TIA! submitted by /u/Palmrosebird01 [link] [comments]
