Need suggestions to hang a mirror for my vanity
I purchased a vanity mirror that can sit on the tabletop, but I decided I’d rather hang it. The problem is that there is a metal plate that is covering some wires. Are there any work around for this? The mirror is 37”x26” and weighs about 22lbs. Above the metal plate is about 2.5” of space. In the pic, I marked where the holes are on the back of the mirror for screws, which are about 5.5” from the top of the mirror. Sorry for bad pic, I had to change the exposure so you could see the marks. I thought perhaps a French cleat would be an option, but I am not sure if that would work with the limited drywall space above the plate and if there is something that can hook into the holes on the back of the mirror. I want to make sure it is very secure since it is so heavy. submitted by /u/zoobileeezoo [link] [comments]
