Global esports organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) has partnered up with crypto casino and sportsbook Rainbet.
The collaboration will see Rainbet become the organisation’s main jersey partner for 2025. This means that Rainbet’s logo will appear across NIP’s competitive roster jerseys and official team apparel.
The updated jersey will make its appearance later today when Ninjas in Pyjamas’ CS2 team competes in PGL Astana 2025. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to the organisation, this deal marks another step for NIP in its mission to establish itself as a leading esports brand.
Earlier this month, the company announced a partnership with web3 sports app Socios.com to boost its fan engagement, further expanding its affiliation in the crypto and blockchain space. Other key sponsors for NIP include energy drink brand Red Bull, apparel brand FILA, and automotive company BYD.
Founded in 2023, Rainbet is a crypto casino and sportsbook under RBGAMING N.V. Aside from traditional sports, the company has a dedicated esports section, covering game titles such as CS2, League of Legends, VALORANT, Dota 2, and more. The company also recently sponsored the Rainbet Cup, an online European CS2 tournament.
Ninjas in Pyjamas competes across several game titles, including Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Rocket League, Counter-Strike 2, EA FC and MLBB.
The esports team is part of the NIP Group, which is managed by co-CEOs Mario Yau Kwan Ho and Hicham Chahine. Earlier last week, NIP Group published its latest financial report, closing out the 2024 financial year with a loss of close to $12.7m (~£9.6m).
Hicham Chahine, CEO of Ninjas in Pyjamas, commented on the deal: “We’re excited to welcome Rainbet as our new main jersey sponsor. This collaboration represents a shared commitment to excellence, creativity, and pushing the envelope in competitive gaming. We’re looking forward to the journey ahead.”
