New exhaust fan install
I am remodeling my bathroom at home and want to add an exhaust fan. I do not have one and would need to drill through the roof. Problem is, I have a flat roof with rubber membrane. My ceiling is roughly 16"-18". Do I just drill a long hole all the way through and add the fan, vent pipe, and wirly bird thing? Not sure the best method of drilling through the roof.
