North American esports organisation NRG has expanded its partnership with gaming hardware brand ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG).

According to a release, the expansion of the partnership will see NRG’s esports players be equipped with a range of ASUS ROG products, including gaming laptops, desktop PCs, and handheld devices. The products will be used by players to compete and practise for esports tournaments.

In addition to new peripherals, the new hardware will also feature across the organisation’s content series, live streams, and activations involving its content creators.

“ASUS has been an incredible partner over the years, and this expansion is a natural next step,” said Brandon Totora, Head of Sales and Partnerships at NRG.

“By integrating ROG’s world-class laptops and desktops into our ecosystem, we’re ensuring our players are equipped with the best tools possible, not just to compete, but to dominate.”

NRG and ASUS first partnered in March 2023 in a similar deal, seeing its players and content creators equipped with the latest hardware to use for practice and competition.

ASUS also continues to cement its position as one of the prominent peripheral brands within the esports industry. In May, it named French Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) player Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut as a brand ambassador.

Who Are NRG’s Partners?

NRG has a total of seven partners in its portfolio. Alongside ASUS ROG, the likes of internet service provider Spectrum, Rockstar Energy, and the Army National Guard continue to lend its support across a range of initiatives focused on engaging its fan base.

Outside of peripherals, NRG joined forces with Theta Labs to launch Volt, an AI-powered chatbot which utilises official match data from esports events as a tool to improve fan engagement.

Most recently, the organisation secured a deal with gaming chair manufacturer AndaSeat, collaborating to launch a limited-edition, co-branded chair designed by its members.
