Pallet Deck

Hello DIY’ers! We have a new property (only developed since last June.) This year we bought an entry level above ground pool to beat the heat, and I want to build a pallet deck as a temporary 2-3 year plan. I plan to use hardwood pallets on patio stones, and my original plan was to put plywood on top and top with artificial turf. My only concern is the water seeping into the plywood and it getting rotten quickly. Does anyone have alternative method or idea for what I’m looking to accomplish? Thanks!
