Planning to hang a swing from this Silver Maple in our front yard. Will it be safe?
I’m planning to hang a swing from this branch, but the tree is a silver maple which is known to be quite brittle and not the most ideal tree for this. But the branch is quite thick and the tree seems healthy overall. Is this a good idea? Worth the risk?
