PlayStation fans are beside themselves after Sony surprise launched an update for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) that…doesn’t really change all that much.

Official PlayStation social media account @AskPlayStation posted about the newly released 4.92 software update today. It’s quite the shock considering the third home PlayStation console launched back in 2006 and ceased production in 2017, meaning today’s improvements arrive around eight years after Sony manufactured its final PS3. What’s not a surprise, however, is that these new adjustments boil down to just one sentence of changes.
