PlayStation’s next State of Play set for Feb. 12

State of Play returns Feb. 12 with 40 minutes of PlayStation 5 news, focused on “a creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world,” according to the PlayStation Blog. That’s tomorrow, for those of you without a calendar.

The broadcast is scheduled for 2 p.m. PDT/5 p.m. EDT and will be available on both YouTube and Twitch.

What this State of Play show has in store is anyone’s guess, but it will probably include an official reveal for the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater info leaked last week. Maybe we’ll finally get a release date for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, a game from which we haven’t seen anything new in some time, but that producer Hideo Kojima insists is still on track for 2025. Kingdom Hearts 4 is probably a long shot, but we’re coming up on the third anniversary of its unveiling with very little to show for it. And I suppose now would be the perfect time to start getting hard details about all those Xbox games that will be jumping ship, especially Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
