Please help with backed up sink.

I have an insinkerator evolution essential and recently my sink has been draining incredibly slowly and also backing up into my dishwasher. I checked the p-trap and it is clean as a whistle, water flows easily through it. I ran some water through my sink with it off to see if it would flow through the disposal and it did fine, I used an auger on my wall pipe to see if I could get a clog. When I was using the auger it went through the pipe for a while then it started flicking every few turns, it was still deploying but it would build tension then flick out the tension after a moment. I spun it in place for a little to see if I could snag anything and got nothing when I brought it back. I hooked everything back up and same issue, sink still drains super slow and backs to the dishwasher. So no I'm looking at the disposal unit itself. I've looked everywhere online to see if I can somehow take it apart and see if the clog is in it somewhere but found nothing. Please help, im at a loss and I really don't want to have to replace the unit if nothing is wrong cause it is 500 bucks. submitted by /u/ThomasthePwnadin [link] [comments]
