PUBG developer, Krafton, has revealed more details for the upcoming PUBG Nations Cup 2025, one of the battle royale’s biggest esports events of the year.

A blog post was published on Krafton’s official website, revealing details such as format, schedule, prize pool and more.

PUBG Nations Cup 2025 Schedule & Format

The PUBG Nations Cup will take place from July 23rd to 27th, 2025, at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea.

PUBG Nations Cup 2025 takes place across five days. The first two will feature the Survival Stage, where 16 teams compete, and only the top half will be able to progress. The last three days, the Final Stage, will pit those top eight teams against last year’s top teams.

The current defending champions are South Korea, with 2024’s top teams also including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Thailand, United States of America and Vietnam.

These are the rest of the teams that will climb from the Group Stage:

  • Canada
  • Chinese Taipei
  • Denmark
  • France
  • Germany
  • India
  • Indonesia
  • Japan
  • Malaysia
  • Norway

According to Krafton, the tournament will be played on version #36.1, and will use the S.U.P.E.R point system.

The winning team is decided by who gets the Chicken Dinner (when a team is the sole survivor). The winner of the series is determined by the number of Chicken Dinners won. In the event of a tie, the team with the most kills throughout the series is declared the winner.
