Removing "step up" inside home
We have these step ups in two different rooms in our home and would like to just make it all one level. Before I dive in and go to town pulling off all the wood flooring, I've pulled away one of the side panels to see if there's any indication as to what's under there. Looks like concrete, but not sure if this would have been poured as part of the original slab, or if this would've been added after the original slab was poured, which would make it a little easier to remove. Anyone have expertise in this area? The house was built in Texas 2004 if that helps.
