Repair Shower Leak
My tile surround shower (photo #1) is leaking after it has been running for a few minutes. It is upstairs and leaking into the ceiling below. I can see the drips coming from where the supply lines go into the floor (photo #2). Since it is only leaking water when turned on, I'm guess that the fitting going from the valve to the shower head is leaking. I can also see the shower drain from the hole I made in the ceiling and it does not leak from that area. I also ran the shower with a bucket collecting the water and it still drips. So I am planning to dig into the shower and try to fix it but I want to do as little damage as possible. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove the tiles surrounding the valve handle in a somewhat precise way? I just don't want this to turn into a re-tile the whole shower situation. submitted by /u/PeludoPeludo1 [link] [comments]
