Spot treat or recoat deck semi-transparent stain
I used a semi-transparent stain on a PT pine deck. It still looks good but is fading in spots. Yesterday I scrubbed the deck with soapy water. Can I "spot treat" these areas with a brush or should i coat the whole deck. From the pictures you can see the deck is in mostly good shape but I want to keep up with the "peeled" spots to keep it looking uniform. Not interested in removing everything and starting new for a few years. https://preview.redd.it/r46ulq0nfdxe1.jpg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6bfe107d0c5dcf3ca0dbdf1e39da1740765bf915 https://preview.redd.it/3xeg1u0nfdxe1.jpg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=221c05ccd411a9896b3d65bb7ce29a8a569f9730 submitted by /u/Full_Rev [link] [comments]
