The Sandy Liang x Beats Solo 4 Headphones Have a Bow on Top

What can't Sandy Liang make cute and coquette? From pink-hued Salomon Sportstyle sneakers and Sandy Liang-donning Monchhichis to, now, Apple's Beats Solo 4 headphones, it seems there's nothing the New York City designer can't reimagine through her distinct design lens.Liang stamps a hand-drawn pink ribbon design across the top of the metallic silver silhouette's headband, while Beats' signature “b” logos land on either side in pastel pink. The headphones come housed in a box complete with a pink 3D-sculpted ribbon. On the technical side, the over-the-ear headphones offer up to 50 hours of battery life as well as Beats Solo's top-tier audio quality, boasting a price tag of $199.99 USD."I've always been drawn to the way nostalgia and modernity can coexist, and working with Beats felt like the perfect way to bring that to life," Sandy Liang explained in a statement. "They're such a cultural icon, I wanted this collaboration to feel personal—something that blends function with a sense of playfulness and personality. I wanted it to feel like more than just headphones, but an accessory that brings joy."Photographer Pia Riverola and model Amelia Gray paired up for the collaboration's campaign, set in Liang's downtown NYC home base.Check out the campaign imagery in the gallery above and cop a pair of the Sandy Liang x Beats Solo 4 headphones beginning today, March 4, at the Apple webstore.
