The SpongeBob SquarePants Secret Lair drop is now available

As part of the Our Boss Is on Vacation Superdrop, Magic: The Gathering publisher Wizards of the Coast has put together a trio of new Secret Lair drops for Magic: The Gathering inspired by everyone’s favorite absorbent, yellow, and porous protagonist, SpongeBob SquarePants. The Legends of Bikini Bottom, Internet Sensation, and Lands Under the Sea Secret Lair drops are all available starting Monday, March 24, in either Rainbow foil or Non-foil variants. Each Non-foil drop is selling for $29.99, while the Foil variants cost $39.99.

Secret Lair is Wizards of the Coast’s outlet for committed Magic: The Gathering collectors, featuring ultra-rare variants of specific cards in addition to collaborations with outside artists and IPs. Previous franchise collaborations from Secret Lair have included Monty Python and Dungeons & Dragons.

Secret Lair x Legends of Bikini Bottom

The Legends of Bikini Bottom Secret Lair includes seven cards featuring the main characters of SpongeBob SquarePants, each serving as a proxy for a classic card from the Magic: The Gathering library.

Secret Lair x Internet Sensation

Built specifically for the terminally online, the Internet Sensation Secret Lair features six cards features art pulled from the most meme-worthy frames of SpongeBob SquarePants, including “Confused Mr. Krabs,” “Sleeping Squidward,” and, of course, “Mocking SpongeBob.” I’m a little sad that “Handsome Squidward” didn’t make the cut, though.

Secret Lair x Lands Under the Sea
