Tod’s Spring/Summer 2026 Collection Is All About a Very Special Kind of Leather

For Tod’s Spring/Summer 2026 presentation on Sunday in Milan, Creative Director Matteo Tamburini invited guests to check in to the Gommino Club, an idyllic paradise where leisure meets style. Seamless burnt orange carpeting cloaked the floors and walls at the Villa Necchi Campiglio, accompanied by pedestals for canvas belts and the brand’s iconic Gommino pebble-sole shoe, featured in the classic "driving shoe" style and in sneaker variations. Plus, Pashmy, a special kind of super-soft leather, was in-focus.

The Spring/Summer 2026 collection is abound with earthy tones. Patterns are subdued, with the most dramatic one being a large checked gingham featured on a mid-length coat. As always, Tamburini walks a tightrope between casual flair and workwear rigidity. Trousers, which run the gamut from wide-legged to straight fit, slouch ever so slightly. Coats and blazers maintain a structured shoulder attached to long, relaxed sleeves. In some looks, the cuffs graze the knuckles.

There’s an Italian saying, “Il dolce far niente,” which translates to “the sweetness of doing nothing.” A more apt philosophy for the Tod’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection is a version of this, tweaked slightly. Looks channel ease, but many models also held large tote bags at the presentation, which created the illusion of having somewhere to be.

Cooper Koch, Joe Alwyn, and brand ambassador Jungwoo were among the celebrities at the event. Keep scrolling to see some standout looks from the Tod’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection.
