Vintage Camper - DIY Countertop
Looking for suggestions on how to finish a DIY countertop in my 1976 Toyota Chinook. The countertop is made of 1/2" MDO with edge banding around the sides. My question is around finishing - I know what color I want to paint it but I don't know what paint to use. Would cabinet or countertop paint be the best option? What would be the most durable and longest lasting paint type? it wouldn't see aggressive or heavy use, but will have things (e.g. - drinks, food, coolers, etc.) placed on top of it. I'd like it to last for the life of the vehicle. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! https://preview.redd.it/kn38pr9g6l8f1.jpg?width=2378&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b9a277d2889985c29033e0d313a335c257e71dfe submitted by /u/Olds77421 [link] [comments]
