Weekly Review: February 22, 2025

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far! I just returned from my quick trip to Europe, and am happy to be home for a bit, before heading to Japan soon. I’ll shortly be publishing the trip report from my first review trip of 2025 (to Hong Kong), and will of course have live updates on my Japan trip as well.

On the points & travel front, this week a Delta Connection CRJ-900 had a terrifying accident in Toronto, Capital One and Chase both opened new airport lounges, Etihad reported a record profit, Southwest announced its first layoffs in company history, EVA Air unveiled its new premium economy, and more.
