What to do with the Floppy Disk in Shattered Veil Black Ops 6 Zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's latest Zombies map, Shattered Veil, includes puzzles and a mysterious item called a Floppy Disk. What is a Floppy Disk? Well, kids, we used to store our data on it back in the day, believe it or not. And considering that BO6 Zombies' story is set in the early 1990s, it makes sense that it's back. But that's neither here nor there. What do you do with your Floppy Disk on Shattered Veil? We've got all the info you need. Floppy Disk BO6 Zombies Shattered Veil guide The Floppy Disk is a crucial part of how you get the Ray Gun Mk. 2 in Shattered Veil in BO6, which is more than just a powerful weapon, but a necessary part of the Easter Egg quest. To get the Floppy Disk, you will have to kill zombies in the underground area once you've unlocked the elevator and can zipline down, usually found around the Pack-a-Punch machine. A zombie in a labcoat will drop the Floppy Disk for you to to pick up. Once you have the Floppy Disk, head to the room that holds Stamin-Up and look for a nearby computer with a fax machine. It's on the eastern side of the mansion, and the room the fax machine is in is called East Foyer. Screenshot by Destructoid The fax will go through, and a piece of paper will come out. Interact with the paper to read the message and see what codeword you receive. For me, it was "YETI," but others include "MOTH" and "CRAB." Remember your codeword. Screenshot by Destructoid Take your codeword to the Nursery room, on the west side of the mansion next to PHD Flopper, and you will find this chalkboard with letters and numbers all over it. The image above shows where the fax machine (yellow circle on the right) and the chalkboard in the Nursery (yellow circle on the left) are located. It's time to decode your codeword. Each letter corresponds to a number. The number that your letter is equates to how many letters it is grouped up with. For example, my code was "YETI." Since Y was in a group of five, that number is 5, E is in a group of seven, so its number is 7, T is in a group of eight so its number is eight, and I is in a group of five, so its number is 5. So this means that my code: 5785. Each code is different each time, including whatever your chalkboard looks like. Screenshot by Destructoid It's time to take this code back downstairs and into the underground basement area opposite of the elevator where you enter. See that big Doppelghast behind the glass? The code opens the door to it, so get ready to fight. Kill the Doppelghast and it will drop a severed arm. Screenshot by Destructoid Pick up the Severed Arm and bring it to the Armory in the same underground area, which you can see marked in the screenshot below. Insert the Severed Arm into the slot next to the glass case holding the Ray Gun Mk. 2, and the new Wonder Weapon is yours.
