Marvel Rivals Ignite is shaping up to be the biggest tournament in Marvel Rivals‘ esports scene, and the EMEA region has seen various teams step up to the plate.

From established organisations such a Virtus.pro to new faces that have entered the scene like Brr Brr Patapim, these are all the teams competing in stage one of Marvel Rivals Ignite EMEA.

Some teams have been invited based on their placements in previous tournaments organised by NetEase, such as the EMEA Invitational and seasonal Championships, while others have earned their spots through the Open Qualifiers.

While North America has seen fierce competition for the top spot, EU has been dominated by one team – Virtus.pro. Following its streak of victories in the Invitationals, Championships and various Rivals Fight Nights, this organisation has become the favourite to win Ignite.

Very few are in doubt that Virtus.pro can reach the top four to progress. However, the question remains whether Virtus.pro could demonstrate the same strength on an international level come the Midseason Finals. With 16 different teams participating from across all five regions, fans are eager to see how Virtus.pro may stack up against teams like 100 Thieves, Sentinels and more.

The other team to look out for is an up-and-coming non-organisation team, Brr Brr Patapim. This team has proven to be one of the few combatants in EU that can challenge Virtus.pro following its performance in some of the more recent Rivals Fight Night. All eyes are on BBP as potentially the only ones who may potentially steal first place from Virtus.pro.

There are also some familiar organisations returning to the scene for another shot at glory, such as OG. The organisation originally disbanded its Marvel Rivals roster back on April 6th, but has returned for Marvel Rivals Ignite with OG Seed. Six active players and two substitutes have been signed as of June 2nd.

OG never managed to take home the win the last time it competed, coming second in the EMEA Invitational and fourth in the Season 1 Championships. But with a new roster under its helm, only time will tell if this team can make history or repeat it.
