Deal Alert: The PlayStation 5 Pro Console Drops to $606.49 During the PS5 Days of Play Sale

Don't miss out on this limited time opportunity to score a new PlayStation 5 Pro console for even less than the standard discounted price during the PlayStation Days of Play sale. Currently Newegg (through its eBay seller account) is offering a brand new, sealed, fully warrantied PlayStation 5 Pro console for $606.49 with free shipping after you apply $50 off coupon code "SDW435G8AJP9OV". You'll still have to pay taxes, of course. This coupon can only be used once per account. This is the best price we'll probably see for a new PS5 Pro console for this year.

PlayStation 5 Pro for $606.49

The PlayStation 5 Pro console was released on November of 2024. This is a more powerful version of the standard PS5 console. Normally you would have to choose between "Quality mode" with true 4K graphics and a lower 30fps max framerate or a "Performance mode" with upscaled 1440p (or lower) graphics with up to 60fps max framerate. However, thanks to the power of the new PS5 Pro console, you can get native 4K resolution and up to 60fps max framerate in many if not most games. The console retails for $699.99 which is $200 more than the standard PS5 console and doesn't include a disc drive as standard. You'd need to buy an add-on disc drive unit for another $79.99.

The PlayStation Days of Play Sale Ends Wednesday, June 11

Sony has pulled the trigger on the Days of Play Sale, its annual savings event that drops prices on all things PlayStation. You’ll find deals on PS5 games, DualSense controllers, the PSVR 2, PlayStation Plus, and consoles – including the first-ever discount on the powerful PS5 Pro. There’s also a new PS5 console bundle that’s on sale (with a Microsoft-published pack-in, no less!). However, you bettery hurry because the sale only lasts for two more days.
