Wuwa and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collab announced for 2026 Kuro Games hosted a new livestream today for Wuthering Waves’ upcoming 2.3 update, which is also the game’s first anniversary patch. During the livestream, the developers announced the surprise collab event with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which is set to launch in 2026. The collaboration is with Netflix anime, and must not be confused with the game. https://twitter.com/edgerunners/status/1913578332480012546 While the officials did not share many details, they did confirm that Night City characters will step into the world of Solaris, meaning we might see a couple of Edgerunners characters becoming playable in Wuthering Waves later down the line. Lucy is one of the main characters in the anime and is likely to be a part of the collab. Based on the character popularity, David and Rebecca are also likely to join the Wuwa roster. Since they will be a part of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collab, they will probably be released as 5-star characters. It will be interesting to see how the developers design their kits to fit the world of Solaris. At the time of writing, the only other information we have about the collaboration event is that it will be launched in 2026. Interestingly, the New Federation is one of the technologically advanced nations in Wuthering Waves. It is the only known nation besides Huanglong and Rinascita, and is expected to be released soon. And since Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is also based in a futuristic world, the surprise collab could be launched after the release of New Federation.
