Xbox Game Pass is closing out April 2025 strong with the return of Grand Theft Auto 5 as well as the addition of new games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
The latter is especially intriguing as one of the rare turn-based RPGs to come from a country other than Japan in recent years. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the first game from French studio Sandfall Interactive, developed as a fantasy adventure through a Belle Époque-inspired world. Imagine the gameplay of Persona 5 mixed with the aesthetics of Lies of P and you’ll have a rough idea of what Clair Obscur is trying to accomplish.
Here’s everything Game Pass users can expect to get out of their subscriptions as we say goodbye to April and head into May:
- Grand Theft Auto 5 (cloud, console, PC) – April 15
- Neon White (console) – April 16
- SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game (cloud, console, PC) – April 16
- Crime Scene Cleaner (cloud, PC, Xbox Series X/S) – April 17
- Tempopo (cloud, console, PC) – April 17
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (cloud, PC, Xbox Series X/S) – April 24

- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (cloud, console, PC) – May 1
- Dredge (cloud, PC, Xbox Series X/S) – May 6
A handful of games are also leaving Game Pass on April 30. I’ll admit, I’m not too familiar with any of these, but I was impressed by the writing and unique style of Thirsty Suitors despite only spending a few hours immersed in its romantic world.
- Have a Nice Death (cloud, console, PC)
- Kona II Brume (cloud, console, PC)
- Sniper Elite 5 (cloud, console, PC)
- The Last Case of Benedict Fox (cloud, console, PC)
- Thirsty Suitors (cloud, console, PC)
- The Rewinder (cloud, console, PC)
