Zeron Epoxy over Rustoleum?
Hi all, Last year I painted a galvanized steel stock tank with multiple coats of Rustoleum metal primer and multiple top coats of Rustoleum royal blue oil based paint. The paint did not hold up in some areas and is fading and chipping off. I bought Zeron bikini blue epoxy and would like to apply that instead. Does anyone have experience with applying an epoxy over top of an oil based paint? Do I need to strip all the old paint off and go back to bare metal? Is it possible to just paint the epoxy over top of the Rustoleum? Thank you for any advice or feedback! submitted by /u/RandyGuru [link] [comments]
