Mario Kart World is a refinement of the classic arcade racer with new additions like an open world, Knockout Tour battle royale mode, and several new Items added to the existing ones you can find on any race track to help you win. Dash Food "A delicious snack that gives the driver a boost of speed and may also change them into a different outfit." Feather "An item that sends the driver high up into the air, allowing them to avoid dangerous items like Bananas and shells. In Battle Mode, flying over a rival lets the user steal balloons or coins." Ice Flower "A powerful item that lets the driver throw ice balls by pressing L. Drivers hit by the ice balls will spin out of control." Hammer "A set of throwable hammers that can be thrown by pressing L repeatedly. Anyone hit will crash." Mega Mushroom "A large mushroom that, once used, enlarges the driver and their vehicle, giving them a boost of speed and allowing them to flatten other racers."
