While stacking units and engaging gameplay is pretty straightforward, I noticed a lot of players don’t know what are the best traits in Anime Rangers X. So, after a bit of grinding and a LOT of trial and error, I was able to whip up this best Anime Rangers X trait tier list. You’ll find out the best traits overall, including some character-specific recommendations. The bigger they are, the more Robux and in-game currency you have to spend to get them to drop. You’ll inevitably be stuck with Horizon, Endure or Superior, depending on your units of choice, but you should try to get at least Sniper, Colossal or Brute. The money-focused traits aren't all that important in the short run, so you should chase them + all the S-tiers around Level 15 or so. Now, let's take a look at each tier of our Anime Rangers X trait tier list in more detail. S Tier Anime Rangers X Traits These Anime Rangers X traits are by far the rarest, which is why I wouldn’t advise you to tackle them before Level 20. You’re going to have to farm A LOT of Trait Rerolls to apply a couple to all your units, so better be ready. Trait Info Best for Grants massive boosts: 50% more range, damage, and HP, plus a 30% chance to evade attacks. Works well with just about any unit in the game, but Cursed Love and Eclipse Sorcerer. Halves unit cost and increases damage and HP by 50%. Also raises spawn cap by 1. Again, versatile and malleable, but I'd recommend equipping Solar First with it. Doubles HP and damage, and spawns two units instead of one when deployed. Giving your Shadow Knights this is basically a cheat code. King Ant, too. Triples HP and damage, increases range by 50%, but limits the total number of units to 1. King Curses' only weakness is range, so this is my pick for Sovereign. A Tier Anime Rangers X Traits Now, these aren’t really the rarest, but they still pack a mean punch and should be added to your units ASAP. However, the drop rate isn’t ideal, so I wouldn’t invest that much effort into trying to get them. Instead, it’s better to aim for Violent, Seraph or Millionaire, but you should definitely keep some of the A-tier ones. You'll notice that there is no "Best for" column—that's because, every Trait other than the S-tiers is a leveled-up version of another, with higher stats, so the only thing you have to think about whether the unit is tanky, ranged or pure melee DPS. Trait Info Provides a 25% increase in range, significantly extending attack distance. Deals 25% more damage than base units. Increases unit health by 25%, allowing for greater durability. Cuts deployment cost by 20%, making the unit more affordable. B Tier Anime Rangers X Traits I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love Jack of All Trades, but is it really worth it? The same goes for other entries in this part of our Anime Rangers X tier list. They’re decent and serviceable up to level 10, in my experience, but they’ll quickly start holding you back. Trait Info Grants a flat 15% increase to attack range. Increases damage dealt by 15%. Boosts total health by 15%. Reduces the cost of deploying the unit by 10%. Slightly increases range, damage, and HP by 5% each. C Tier Anime Rangers X Traits Endure, Superior and Horizon are amazing for learning the ropes in the beginning, but you’ll soon want to get rid of them. Since they’re the most common and it’s hard to get Trait Rerolls early in Anime Rangers X, you’re gonna have to grind through them and hope for the best. Trait Info Increases unit attack range slightly, moderately, or significantly depending on level. Max bonus is a 10% range increase. How to Get Trait Rerolls in Anime Rangers X
In Anime Rangers X, getting Trait Rerolls is essential—especially since a lot of Traits are pretty mid or straight-up trash. You’ll be rerolling a lot, so here’s every way you can stack them up:

- Quests: Open the Quests tab on the right side of your screen. Some quests—like “Defeat X enemies,” “Summon X units,” or “Earn X Yen”—will hook you up with Trait Rerolls.
- Challenges: Once you hit Level 15, Challenges become available, and most of them reward you with rerolls.
- Level Milestones: You’ll earn Trait Rerolls just for leveling up. Expect them at milestones like Level 5, Level 10, and so on.
- Shiny Normalize: In the Summon building, there’s an NPC at the entrance who will convert your Shiny units into normal ones. In return, you’ll get Trait Rerolls.
