Any ideas for how to do this?
Hey all. I’m working on installing a tv on our back patio. The area that I’d like to mount it in is shown in the photo below. My problem is, the Storm Shell outdoor tv cover that I’d like to use is 4” wider than the space itself due to the electric meter and the conduit coming out of the meter. I’m looking for suggestions on how to mount the tv in this space. The only idea I’ve had is to attach a couple pieces of lumber (probably would paint it to somewhat match the siding) to the studs, then mount the storm shell to that so the tv mount sits out away from the house enough (the conduit sticks out about 2.25”)… but I’m wondering if there are other options that would work better. If you’ve got ideas, please share! Thanks! submitted by /u/Ab1212121212 [link] [comments]
