Anyway to prevent termites? Or reduce the risk of them?

I apologize in advance if this isn't the right sub for this question But lately on Reddit, I've been seeing a ton of posts of people's homes getting infested with termites. And all the top comments are something along the lines of - "Be prepared to shell out thousand's upon thousands of dollars" I do not have termites. And I have no reason to believe I'll get them. But I like to take any precautions I can. Is there anything I go to around my home, or to my home, to reduce the probability of termites? Thanks in advance for any and all input!! submitted by /u/Prince_Targaryen [link] [comments]

I do not have termites. And I have no reason to believe I'll get them.

But I like to take any precautions I can.

Is there anything I go to around my home, or to my home, to reduce the probability of termites?

Thanks in advance for any and all input!!
