Augustinus Bader Finally Made a Sheet Mask. See the New Hydrogel Face Mask

For the Augustinus Bader loyalist, there's been one product missing from its suite of luxury skincare over the years. But Wednesday morning, that all changed when the brand debuted its bronze-colored sheet mask.

Officially dubbed the Hydrogel Face Mask, the new Augustinus Bader product is designed to hydrate the skin, minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, even the skin tone, and calm redness. It applies in two parts, which helps the mask get maximum coverage on the face, and is made to stay on for about 20 minutes. It retails for $32 per piece, and it's also available in a six-pack for $180.

The soft hydrogel material used in the mask is saturated with ingredients like the brand's proprietary TFC8, copper peptides, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and more. Altogether, these are "creating a protective microenvironment that supports accelerated hydration and skin renewal," per founder and Professor Augustinus Bader. He recommends the new product for all skin types and says that it's best to use the mask two to three times weekly, or as something to use to prepare a glow-y visage for events.

The brand, which was founded by the German physician in 2018, has quickly become a luxury skincare favorite over the years. From celebrity endorsements (like Jennifer Aniston and Kate Moss) of its cult-favorite Rich Cream to movie placements (think about that Challengers scene where Zendaya pulls out her cobalt-blue tub of body lotion), it's a beauty cabinet favorite. The new Hydrogel Face Mask gives fans a new way to boost their skin—encouraging cell renewal while combating signs of aging—whether it's using the sheet on a long flight or while catching up on the latest reality TV.
