It was fun seeing the glory days of Rell Seas 1, followed by the splendor of the sequel... and then BOOM! But then, something no one expected—we were shown Rell Seas 4 as well. In fact, we saw much more of it than for Seas 3. The new Tori and its animations are gorgeous, as are the animations for Katame’s entrance and the Underwater boss. We even saw the new map, which is simply humongous. To drop a trailer without any indication of when the movie is coming is outrageous, to say the least. Everyone started flaming them immediately after the video ended, accusing them of being lazy, trolls, deceitful or downright fraudulent. Of course, everyone remembers the shenanigans and Delays with Shinobi Life 2, but in my opinion, that just makes it worse. Rell Games aren’t strangers to tugging on the heartstrings of their loyal players. Of course, I’d love to come out and say I was wrong if they say “nah we we trolling and the game will be out in X days,” but think about it—if the official Rell Seas Movie 3 trailer was showcasing a finished game, why not go for the coup the grace and just announce the damn thing? Rell Seas Reworked Bosses On the other hand, the trailer showed us the reworked bosses, fruits and even combat, but again, we’re circling back to the notion that this wasn’t such a good promotion.
