Best option to shave 1/4" off the width of a solid core door?

I have a 36" replacement door that is just a little too wide for the jamb. Jambs are already at max width. The door is pre-routed for hinges and the lock/handle. It's a solid core door, I think the frame is timber with an MDF skin and osb type board in the center. The only way I can think of to approach this is mark the hinge positions, shave 1/4" off the hinge side, and then re-route for the hinges. I have what I need to redo the hinge pockets, but what's the best option to accurately cut 1/4" off the side of the entire door? I have a table saw, circular saw, router, electric hand plane, but nothing like a jointer. Is a track saw worth getting for something like this? submitted by /u/PretendablePirate [link] [comments]
