Best Way to Secure Board to Desk
I'm looking to purchase this desk: https://a.co/d/g7m9WWv The monitor shelf is too skinny for my monitor stand footprint (31"x15"). I'm thinking of getting a 3/4" board and mounting it on top. All overhang would be on one side. Id like to avoid screws. Would bar clamps suffice for this, or should I use wood glue in addition to it? Or is this too little for a 40lb monitor?
