Best way to use safety switch on condensate pump to turn off dehumidifier?

I have a Frigidaire FAD704DUD Dehumidifier and would like to hook up a condensate pump like a Little Giant VCMA-20ULST. Is there a better way to use the safety switch than to connect it to a relay like this? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WV7GMA2 Is a relay like that even safe?
